在XP中安裝Vista Sidebar

Vista Sidebar就是所謂的Windows 資訊看板，在電腦上可以安裝許多的有用或有趣的小工具(gadget)。阿維剛剛在gHacks看到這篇文章Windows Vista Sidebar for Windows XP，裡面介紹了如何在Windows XP中安裝Vista Sidebar，而且安裝完成之後還可以到Gadget Gallery線上安裝其他小工具。有興趣的朋友可以去安裝來玩玩看。

 FeedJIT - 即時了解部落格的訪客來源

阿維今天突然間收到很多的MyBlogLog的加入好友邀請，這些邀請大多來自於國外，阿維想說趁著去了解這些人在決定要不要加入好友的同時，也去觀摩一下國外的部落格。

阿維在拜訪這些部落格的時候，發現有為數不少的部落格都安裝了一個widget - FeedJIT，他可以即時顯示訪客是從什麼地方進入部落格，並且是去看了那一篇文章。

FeedJIT總共提供了四個widget，另外三個分別是：顯示訪客分布的小全球地圖、顯示訪客除了造訪某一個頁面之外還同時造訪了那一個頁面，以及今日最多人造訪的頁面。

這個widget還蠻有趣的，不過在中文顯示上面有問題，會變成亂碼，阿維剛剛有去FeedJIT作者的部落格留言反應這個問題，希望作者很快就可以處理掉這個小問題。

有興趣的人可以到 FeedJIT 去選擇自己喜歡的widget來安裝。

 PayPerPost 對部落格審核的基本條件

阿維以前看過一些關於部落格賺錢的網站會介紹PayPerPost這個寫評論賺錢的網站，阿維也曾經去申請過，不過他們目前只有接受英文部落格的申請，前幾天阿維去弄了一個英文部落格，想要去試試看這家審核的基本條件是什麼。

在阿維提出申請後幾天，果然不出所料收到拒絕的信件。
In order to be accepted to the PPP Marketplace, your blog must be at least 90 days old with 20 English language posts written throughout that time. Also, a link to your chronological archives must be provided.
部落格必須架站90天，而且在90天內必須發表20篇英文文章，此外必須提供按月份封存的連結(就是每個月發表了幾篇文章的那種樹狀目錄，阿維不知道要怎麼翻譯archives比較好)

Blogs must be made up primarily of posts that are at least 3-5 sentences of original content. We do not accept blogs with non-original content, blogs that have content primarily re-posted from other sources.
申請的部落格的文章內容必須是自己撰寫，而且每篇至少要有3到5句內容。我們不接受非原創的內容，或者是內容是從其他來源重新發佈的部落格。

看來阿維如果可以把英文部落格按照阿維雜記本這樣的頻率持續寫3個月，那阿維或許也有機會可以一窺PayPerPost的廣告主有那些了。
