Windows Live SkyDrive目前只有5G的免費空間，比Gmail的7G小了一點點。但是根據The Windows Blog的25GB of Free Online Storage with Windows Live SkyDrive這篇文章中提到，Windows Live SkyDrive即將推出25G免費的空間。而且根據這篇文章，提供了下面四點特點

1. Download photos directed to your to Windows Live Photo Gallery.
可以透過Windows Live Photo Gallery直接下載照片(圖片)；

2. Download as a .zip file. Download an entire folder in one compressed file (initially available only in the United States, Denmark, and Ireland).
可以將檔案壓縮成.zip格式下載，不過初期只有美國、丹麥和愛爾蘭有提供這個服務；

3. Move files between folders.
可以在目錄間隨意移動檔案；

4. Copy files to multiple folders.
可以將檔案複製到多個目錄。
